A Sage
While the actions of a sage or a person of Truth
show that good things are good,
and bad things are bad,
there is not one shred of discrimination in his mind.
While he has thoughts,
he does not dwell within them.
Everything about him is the same as ordinary people
but he is a person who does not exist within his self.
A sage is a person who has the whole world.
He is a person who acts,
but who is not within his actions,
so he cannot be seen or recognized by people.
A sage simply just lives, among people.

Truth does not exist in a sage’s outward actions.
Truth does not exist in a person’s exterior -
it lies inside the mind which cannot be seen.
Truth exists within the sage.
The life of a sage is very much like
the lives of all people.
That a sage does not have any images,
or that he does not have any attachments,
or that he has departed from all things,
or that he has absolutely no greed
mean that although he has all of these things,
he does not dwell within them;
these are things that are not apparent to human eyes.
